David Gilmour has announced a six-night residency at London's prestigious Royal Albert Hall this October in support of his fifth solo album Luck And Strange, which is due out on September 6th via Sony.

David Gilmour has announced a six-night residency at London's prestigious Royal Albert Hall this October in support of his fifth solo album Luck And Strange, which is due out on September 6th via Sony.

The residency, from October 9 through October 15, will mark the Pink Floyd guitarist's first live shows in eight years. His last public live performance as a solo artist was at the Royal Albert Hall in 2016 during a residency in support of his 2015 record, Rattle That Lock.

Luck And Strange features a surprise appearance from the late Pink Floyd keyboard player Richard Wright that was recorded in 2007 at a jam in a barn at David's house. The new album was recorded in both Brighton and London over a five-month period and has been produced by Gilmour and Charlie Andrew, who has previously worked with ALT-J and Marika Hackman.

Gilmour recently released a new video for the first single from Luck And Strange, "The Piper's Call."

Despite never sending one of its timeless tracks to No. 1 on the Official Singles Chart, Rumours is one of the most successful and enduring LPs ever released in the U.K. - it's spent a total of 1,042 weeks inside the Official Albums Chart since its release in 1977.

Fleetwood Mac's only U.K. No. 1 single remains 1968's Albatross.

This week, Rumours is back inside the Top 10 of the Official Albums Chart, solidifying its status as one of the most popular records with the British public of all time.

According to Official Charts Company data, Rumours has logged 280,000 vinyl sales since the beginning of the new millennium.

Coming in at No. 2 is Pink Floyd's 1973 magnum opus Dark Side of the Moon, considered to be one of the greatest rock albums ever made. Dark Side of the Moon still ranks as one of the Top 10 best-selling albums of all time in the U.K..

Completing the Top 5 are Nirvana's generation-defining second album Nevermind (No. 3), Oasis's best-selling album in the U.K., (What's The Story) Morning Glory? (No. 4) and Queen's Greatest Hits (No. 5), which remains the best-selling album of all time in the UK.

Shinedown have launched their own line of hot sauces in collaboration with specialty sauce artisan Torchbearer Sauces, with support from Warner Music Experience.

The first flavor in the series of sauces to come this year is Symptom Chipotle Garlic Sauce, named after Shinedown's current crossover hit "A Symptom Of Being Human."

"We have been provided a wonderful opportunity to create this 'Symptom' sauce with our friends at Torchbearer Sauces," said Shinedown drummer Barry Kerch. "Cultivating this sauce has been a passion project and has been an absolute joy to accomplish together. This is just the beginning of what we want to present to the fans of Shinedown. This debut 'Symptom' sauce is to be enjoyed by the masses because this one is just right. This sauce is for all of us."

A song from Shinedown's seventh studio album Planet Zero, "A Symptom Of Being Human" is a hit at pop radio.
