Eric Clapton has teamed with Martin Guitar for the Crossroads 2026 Collection, a new lineup celebrating his long connection with acoustic guitars. The newly announced release includes two signature 000-style acoustic-electric models, the Martin 000-42 EC and Martin 000-13E EC.

The collection also features a recreation of Clapton’s Blind Faith Telecaster, with production limited to 130 instruments. The release reflects several stages of the guitarist’s career while highlighting the 000 body shape he has used for decades.

Clapton’s association with Martin guitars became especially visible following his 1992 Unplugged performance and album. The project won three Grammy Awards and helped bring acoustic guitar music back into mainstream attention during the early 1990s.

His interest in Martin instruments, however, started much earlier. Clapton has recalled seeing a Martin dreadnought as a child at Kingston Market and being struck by its design.

The Crossroads 2026 Collection continues that relationship with instruments tied closely to Clapton’s musical history and preferences.
